Plant Care
Sunstruck False Sunflower is remarkably low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering and prevent self-seeding. Cut back stems to 6 inches above ground level in late fall or early spring. Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring when new growth emerges.
Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or early fall, spacing plants 16-20 inches apart. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Fill with soil, water thoroughly, and apply a 2-inch layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the crown.
