Plant Care
Strawberry plants thrive with regular maintenance. Water deeply at the base of the plant, avoiding wetting the foliage. Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring and after the first harvest. Remove runners unless you want the plants to spread, and mulch around plants to retain moisture and prevent fruit from touching soil.
Planting Instructions
Plant in spring once soil can be worked. Dig holes 6 inches apart in rows 3-4 feet apart. Place crown at soil level, neither too deep nor too shallow. Spread roots out and firm soil around plant. Water thoroughly after planting and apply mulch.
