Plant Information
Plant Care
Sarcoxie Euonymus Standards are relatively low-maintenance plants that thrive with basic care. Regular watering is essential during the establishment period, transitioning to moderate watering once established. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Pruning can be performed in late winter or early spring to maintain the desired shape and remove any damaged branches. This hardy plant demonstrates excellent resistance to pests and diseases.
Planting Instructions
Select a location that receives adequate sunlight and has well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and equal in depth. Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place the plant in the hole, ensuring it’s at the same depth as it was in the container. Backfill with soil, tamping down gently to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly and apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the trunk.
