Plant Information
Plant Care
Sante Shasta Daisies are remarkably low-maintenance plants that reward gardeners with abundant blooms. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage continuous blooming throughout the season. In late fall, cut back stems to ground level. Apply a layer of compost in spring to promote healthy growth and divide plants every 3-4 years to maintain vigor.
Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or early fall, spacing plants 12-14 inches apart. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and at the same depth. Remove plant from container and gently loosen roots. Place in hole, ensuring the crown is level with soil surface. Backfill with soil, water thoroughly, and apply a 2-inch layer of mulch around the plant, keeping it away from the crown.
