Plant Information
Plant Care
Royal Ferns thrive with minimal maintenance when planted in appropriate conditions. Keep soil consistently moist and never allow it to dry out completely. Remove any dead or damaged fronds in early spring before new growth emerges. Apply a layer of organic mulch annually to help retain moisture and provide nutrients.
Planting Instructions
Plant Royal Fern in spring or early fall. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Place the plant at the same level it was growing in the container. Backfill with soil mixed with organic matter, water thoroughly, and apply a 2-inch layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the crown.
