Plant Information
Plant Care
Royal Candles Speedwell is a low-maintenance perennial that thrives with minimal care. Regular deadheading of spent blooms will encourage continuous flowering throughout the season. In late fall, cut back the foliage to ground level. Apply a layer of mulch around the plant base to protect roots during winter months.
Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer to promote healthy growth and abundant blooming. This plant is relatively pest and disease resistant, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
Planting Instructions
Plant Royal Candles Speedwell in spring or early fall. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place the plant in the hole, ensuring it sits at the same level as it was in the container.
Backfill with soil, firming gently around the base. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture until established. Space plants 12-15 inches apart to allow for mature growth.
