Plant Information
Plant Care
Pearl Glam Beauty Berry is remarkably low-maintenance once established. Prune in early spring before new growth emerges to maintain shape and encourage vigorous growth. Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring and mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. This hardy shrub shows excellent resistance to deer and most common garden pests.
Regular watering is essential during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Once established, it becomes more drought-tolerant but benefits from consistent moisture during flowering and berry production periods. Remove any dead or damaged branches as needed throughout the growing season.
Planting Instructions
Plant Pearl Glam Beauty Berry in spring or fall for optimal establishment. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface.
Backfill with native soil mixed with organic matter, firming gently to eliminate air pockets. Water thoroughly and apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the stem. Space multiple plants 3-4 feet apart for optimal growth and visual impact.
