Kitten Around Catmint is exceptionally easy to maintain and drought-tolerant once established. Regular deadheading encourages continuous blooming throughout the season. In mid-summer, consider cutting back the plant by one-third to promote fresh growth and a second flush of flowers. This plant demonstrates excellent resistance to deer and rabbits while remaining vigorous and healthy with minimal care.
Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or fall, spacing plants 18-24 inches apart. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Place the plant at the same level it was growing in the container, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly. Apply a light layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the crown to prevent rot. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system.
