Plant Care

Poblano peppers thrive with consistent, even moisture—keeping the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Full sun is important for strong growth and full flavor development, so choose a bright, sunny location in your garden or greenhouse.

Before planting, enrich the soil with compost or organic matter to support healthy, vigorous plants. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season to encourage steady growth and abundant fruiting.

Light pruning early in the season can help shape the plant, improve airflow, and increase overall yield.
