Plant Information
Plant Care
Fairview Maple trees require minimal maintenance once established. Regular watering is essential during the first growing season to develop a deep, extensive root system. Apply a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weed growth. Pruning should be done in late winter to early spring to remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches.
Planting Instructions
Select a location with adequate space for mature growth, away from buildings and power lines. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the tree from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place the tree in the hole, ensuring it’s straight and at the proper depth. Backfill with original soil, tamping down to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly and apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch, keeping it away from the trunk.
