Plant Information
Plant Care
Carnival Watermelon Coral Bells are relatively low-maintenance plants that thrive with minimal attention. Remove any damaged or dead foliage in early spring to promote healthy new growth. During the growing season, maintain consistent moisture but avoid overwatering. Apply a layer of mulch around the plant to retain moisture and suppress weed growth. Divide plants every 3-4 years to maintain vigor and prevent crown rot.
Planting Instructions
Choose a location with partial to full shade and well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots. Place the plant in the hole, ensuring the crown is slightly above soil level. Backfill with soil, firming gently to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture until established. Space plants 14-16 inches apart for optimal growth.
