Plant Care
The Acrocona Pusch is remarkably low-maintenance once established. Water deeply but infrequently to encourage deep root growth. Apply a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer formulated for conifers. Pruning is rarely necessary, but if desired, trim new growth in late spring to maintain shape.
Planting Instructions
Plant in spring or early fall for best results. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and at the same depth. Remove the container and gently loosen the roots. Place the tree in the hole, ensuring it’s straight and at the same level it was growing in the container. Backfill with original soil, tamping down gently to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly and apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch, keeping it away from the trunk.
